INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT

MicroSurvey Software Inc is looking for an Intermediate Accountant

Responsibilities:

Experienced Accountant with office management ability. Job requires a self motivated individual that can handle all the office accounting and administration of a company with over 20 employees.

Experience must be related to a small business environment requiring a "big picture" understanding of all the issues involved in efficiently controlling the administration of a small company.

Position requires expert knowledge of Quickbooks. Job requires monthly financial statements, aged A/P and A/R, cash-flow management and forecasting. Year end will be prepared by company's accounting firm from company prepared working papers. Payroll, PST, GST, WCB, EI etc.. are also a requirement.

Computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook etc.. are a must.

Individual will report to the President of the Company. Job Costing, profit margin monitoring, purchase of supplies, dealing with suppliers and customers and employees are part of the job. Good interpersonal skills and organization are a must. If you have a positive attitude and care about the company you could be the perfect person for us.

We require a drivers license with a clean record. Individual must be bondable and provide verifiable employment and educational references.

Years of related experience:

• 5+ years practical experience in full cycle accounting.
• Experience in wholesale or retail industries preferred.

Education:

• 3-4 level CMA/CGA. Only those candidates who are actively pursuing a professional accounting designation will be considered.
