"Maintenance Period has Expired" but you've already Updated your USB Key
Solution

Users from Quebec have reported that when they update their USB key they continue to see a message that their maintence period has expired.

Apparently this is caused by the way that dates are displayed on a French (Canada) Computer: MM/DD/YYYY

This issue may come up with other regions that use the same date format.

The solution:

In your Windows computer, Open Start | Control Panel | Regional and Language Settings

Pick "Regional Options" and pick English (Canada) from the "Standards and Formats" pulldown.

Run the license manager and update your key.

You can now change the regional Settings back to their original setting, and run MSCAD.

Remember this extra step whenever you need to update or activate your USB key.
